// WEEKLY UPDATES
THE LOG
Building in public. Every week I document what I learned, what I built, and what I'm figuring out. Growth is easier when it's visible.
Launched this portfolio site
Designed and built my own portfolio from scratch. Spent real time thinking about what I want to communicate — not just what looks good. The process taught me more about personal branding than any article could. This site belongs to me, not to any platform.
First semester at Wits: what I've learned so far
Algorithms in C++ are harder than I expected — and more interesting. Implementing binary search from scratch with no hints is a completely different experience from watching someone explain it. Wits moves fast. The pace demands a real system, not just good intentions.
Built a productivity system for university in Notion
Spent two weeks designing a Notion workspace that tracks assignments, deadlines, reading lists, and weekly reviews. This was actually a software design problem — what data do I need, how does it relate, what view do I need when. Good practice for systems thinking before building.
Why I started Level7Lab
Matric was the first time I understood that most students around me had the ability but not the system. I did well not because I was smarter — I had better habits. Level7Lab started as a TikTok page to share those habits. It became something bigger. I want it to become a real product.
